Collegiate 100

Collegiate 100

The purpose of the Collegiate 100 is to implement the mentoring and tutoring programs of 100 Black Men. The participants assist the parent organization with the development of the social, emotional, educational, and physical needs of young black males who have few or no positive role models in the communities in which they live.

The Collegiate 100 of North Carolina State University, North Carolina Central University and St. Augustine’s College are made up of college students that share The 100’s service and assist the 100 with it mentoring and empowerment mission. This dedicated volunteer corps serves as role models for youth while enhancing their own personal college careers through service in Raleigh / Durham’s underserved communities. The Collegiate 100 specifically teaches Life Skills Modules, provides tutoring, and -group mentoring.

Currently, there are chapters at North Carolina Central University, North Carolina State University, St. Augustine University and Shaw University.
