Tar Heel Talk: 100 Black Men of Triangle East
Kicking off the 2017 Mentoring Program the 100 Black Men of Triangle East became a featured topic on Fox 50’s Tarheel Talk, hosted and produced by Emmy Award-winning Sonya Williams. Our very own Al Sullivan, President of the 100 Black Men of Triangle East along with Nate Branscomb, Vice President, Greg McLeod & Stephen Cooke Mentoring Co-chairs and Chonda and Joshua Swann, Parent and Program Participant shared their perspectives on the mission, program goals and local efforts of the100 Black Men of Triangle East organization. Studies show that mentoring may be the most important factor to helping young men of color succeed. 100 Black Men of Triangle East is working to mentor African American males in the Raleigh and Durham areas.
